Which service do I need?
Each of our individual service and combined package pages explain in detail what each is for and how they work. While we try simplifying our services as much as possible, we realise some terms can seem confusing – especially if you are just starting out.

What ID do I need to provide and where do I upload it?
You are required to supply proof of your identity (passport, driving licence photocard, government-issued ID card, HM Forces ID card, valid Student card, employment ID card, disabled driver blue badge) and proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, mortgage statement, council tax bill) within seven days of purchase.
You will be shown where to upload your ID once your order is complete.
How long does company formation take?
Once you complete the form on your account, we submit this to Companies House after we have reviewed your submission. If this is submitted during business hours, it may take up to 24 hours for your company to be formed. However, it could take longer.
Why do I need a Registered Office Address?
UK limited companies are legally required to have a UK registered office. Our registered office service covers use of our address for official government mail only. This address cannot be used for general business correspondence, for which you must also purchase our Business Address Service (Our Virtual Business Plus package covers both official and business mail). Using a Registered Office Address has the added benefit of protecting your personal address from appearing on the public register.
How does a Virtual Business Address work?
A Virtual Business Address can be used where you would show your place of business. For example, on your website and stationery.
When business mail is received, we will forward this to you, or if preferred we can open the mail and scan & email it to you. Personal mail will not be forwarded.
Should you need to host a meeting, we have a number of modern, unbranded meeting rooms to comfortably seat up to ten people (fees apply).
How does the Telephone Answering Service work?
You can choose either a London (0203), Edinburgh (0131) or Ipswich (01473) phone number which you can either use as your own number or you can divert calls to it when you are busy. When your number is called, we answer it in your company name. We then let the caller know they are through to reception and that your phone extension is busy. We will take a message and their contact information, which are all immediately uploaded to your online admin account and sent to you by email and via the MYCO smartphone app.
